By installing our advanced
hardwire kit (HW1-E, sold separately)
to a constant-power fuse slot and enabling Parking Mode, the UltraDash Z4 remains on standby when your vehicle is parked. In this mode, Z4 can detect abnormal impacts or motion and immediately record potential incidents
, such as hit-and-run damage, vandalism, or suspicious activity around your vehicle. A time-lapse option is also available for continuous low-power recording to capture the entire period while you are away.
Note 1: Because Z4 records in dual 4K, power consumption is higher than standard dash cams. Parking Mode is recommended for users who drive regularly or only when needed, and can be controlled with the HW1 switch.
Note 2: For electric vehicles such as Tesla, if direct fuse access is not available, Parking Mode can still be used as long as the vehicle provides 12V power when parked (for example, when Sentry Mode is active). The Z4 will enter Parking Mode after 5 minutes of inactivity and automatically exit once the vehicle begins moving.
